Experimental live web-link between students from Norway and Greece.

"Let us link with ... Norway!" is Distance-learning Music Agoge's third web-link between distant sites and the project's first between Greece and a foreign country. It is also the first experimental, audio-response, live linkcast between two countries in Europe. For more information about "audio response" please consult "Akriton Mousiki" linkcast.

The theme of the link is the Cretan-Renaissance song of Erotokritos and the traditional Norwegian melody of Nokken danser.

 

 

 

 

Online rehearsals were scheduled and the musical pieces were prepared according to timetable.

The Multicast sites:

Peloponnesus (Greece):
Mr. Vassilis Kanelopoulos, project manager from the Municipality of Western Achaia coordinated the linksite from Peloponnesus. Two young music students (early secondary education) performed "Nokken danser" for voice and piano.

Athens (Greece):
Two young students from Athens (early secondary & late primary school) performed "Nokken danser" (one student was live from the actual linksite and the other playing from recorded video).

Stord (Norway):
One young guitar student performed the theme that circulated around Athens, Peloponnesus and Stord.
